About Me

My photo
My name is Eden, I'm married to an amazing man who is my everything and I'm a SAHM to our 2 wonderful kids. I love shopping for my children and dressing up my little girl so I decided to learn how to make tutus, hair bows and headbands. I wanted to take it a step further and share my product with others so that every little girl can feel like a princess! So, with the help of a really great friend of mine, Stephanie, we created Ballerina Babies Boutique!

More Pics from our Photo Shoot!

I just got a few more teasers from our photo shoot with Christopher Scott Photography! They are just as amazing as the 1st set of teasers! I can't wait to see the rest of our session photos! I know they're gonna be great!

Halloween and Craft Fair!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I know we did! :) The kids had fun trick or treating and got lots of candy, which has now been hidden! :) I just wanted to take a minute to show off my daughter's costume because I made the tutu and hair bow...she was Tinkerbell! I apologize for the poor quality picture, I haven't uploaded the ones from my camera yet, this is a cell phone picture. :)

In other news! I'm going to be doing a craft fair on December 4th! I've been stocking up on supplies and tonight I finished my first tutu! It's a size 5T (20 inch waist), 12 inches long and the color scheme is red, white and green! I'm going to hold off on posting pictures of the craft fair tutus and hair bows until they're all finished. Nothing like a little suspense to make things exciting! :)

Christopher Scott Photography!

A few days ago we had our photo shoot with Christopher Scott Photography! They were kind enough to give me a little sneak peek, so I'm sharing it with you! I cannot even express how happy I am with the photos! They are just perfect! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! :-)

Getting Ready For Our Photo Shoot!

I just finished Emilee's hair bow for our photo shoot with Christopher Scott Photography tomorrow! I can't wait to get the headband for it in the morning! Now I just have to hope she doesn't yank it off as soon as I put it on her! :-) I have to make Aubree's hair bow and headband in the morning and put the finishing touches on Emilee's tutu and then we'll be ready! I'm so excited and I can't wait to post pictures from the shoot! They'll be up as soon as I get them! :-)

It's attached to a lined alligator clip :-)

A New Item!

I'm excited to announce that I will also be selling handmade hair bow holders! I started working on a prototype the other night (my good friend Meaghan came up with the design!) but it's not finished so I don't want to post a picture yet ;-) I'm hoping that I can finish and post it this weekend! I'm also excited to start working on the tutus for our photo shoot next week! I'm hoping to start those this weekend as well! :)

I'm So Excited!

A few days ago I got an email from a woman named Nicole asking if I would be willing to do some cross promotion with her! She and her husband have a photography business (Christopher Scott Photography) and they are going to do a free photo shoot with my choice of models wearing my tutus! Our shoot is October 26th at 3:30pm! So in a couple of weeks I'll have some great quality pics to share with you all! YAY! :)

Made a Few Hair Bows Today!

So today my husband took the kids out to play for a couple hours so that I could make some hair bows! I have to say, it was a little more difficult than I thought it would be, but I'm pretty happy with the results! As I mentioned before, I'm still building my inventory and I'm also still experimenting with different styles of bows, but if you see something you like, or have something else in mind just email me and I'll see what I can do for you!

These are the clips I've used for my bows. The top is an alligator clip and the bottom is a french barrette.

This little bow is attached to a lined alligator clip.

This bow is attached to an unlined alligator clip.

And this one is attached to a lined, 3 inch french barrette.
